The Scott Nace Memorial Fund

Scott Nace lived his entire life in Richfield, PA  and was a passionate follower of Jesus Christ.  He was married for 27 years and was the father of 3 children.  Scott often preached at his home church and taught Sunday School regularly.  He was a member of the “Friends in Christ” quartet and loved singing as a way to spread the Gospel.

Scott passed away in a vehicle accident on July 11, 2016 at the age of 51.  The  day before he died he had stated during a Sunday School lesson, “...we all sin and need to repent and ask for forgiveness.”  He said he was ready when God calls him—was the rest of the congregation ready as well?

Scott’s death was a tragedy to his family, friends and community, but many blessings have come as the result of it.  At one time Scott wrote these words:  “Many times it’s hard to keep in perspective that this life is only temporary.  There’s so much more in store for those who remain faithful.  Unfortunately it takes something tragic to remind us.”  Scott had always felt called to Christian
ministry.

Scott stated, “For several  years, I have felt a tugging at my heart or an urge to do more for the Lord.  I didn’t know what it was to be or how  I should go about it… I know that I have to share the Gospel in the future.”

Scott’s time on earth and ministry was cut short, but God’s plan is perfect and He is using Scott’s
legacy to continue His work here on earth.  Find hope and confidence in Scott’s favorite verse:

Romans 8:28 (NIV) says “and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
